MLB All-Star Uniforms Tried Too Hard

Dan Patrick thinks Major League Baseball had a good night last night at their All-Star Game with the notable exception of their uniforms. He is now leading the call for players going back to wearing their own team uniforms for the actual game and leaving the hokey “softball-ish” jerseys for the HR Derby and other associated events.

Dan Patrick: “I thought the uniforms were softball-ish and they tried too hard. I think; just make it an All-Star Game, you wear your uniforms. If you want to wear those things, and I call them 'things,' if you want to go, ‘Hey, we’re doing (a) Texas theme for the Home Run Derby;’ fine. Not for the All-Star (Game). Like, I felt bad for some of those guys that just didn’t look good in those colors. But it was definitely a softball-like feel.”
