A report out of the Bay Area has the San Francisco 49ers open for business on a trade for WR Brandon Aiyuk. Dan is convinced this story was likely planted by the Niners to drum up interest in Aiyuk and let everyone know they are ready to deal. It’s becoming obvious that they don’t want to spend the kind of money it would take to keep him.
Dan Patrick: “This feels like the Niners are passing on some information to let everybody know you’re open for business, and also, ‘Here’s your chance, last call for Brandon Aiyuk,’ instead of; this is coming from the Steelers camp or the Patriots camp, the Browns camp, that somebody there broke this. No, this is San Francisco saying we’re moving on from Brandon Aiyuk.”
