Jason Whitlock Says Deion Sanders is a 'Thin-Skinned Fraud'

Jason Whitlock: “Deion Sanders’ first press conference of the 2024 season... I’m going to grade it an ‘F’. He was fragile, he was fraudulent, he was feminine, he was BAD. It was AWFUL. It was a cry for help. Deion Sanders needs help. This is as thin-skinned a grown man as I’ve ever seen in my life. This is as fragile a grown man as I’ve ever seen in my life. This is as fraudulent a grown man as I’ve seen in my life. This man was feminine, he was little girl childlike. It was embarrassing. Before someone even asked him a question he came out on the defensive. This little Athlon Sports story has Deion backpedaling like he’s up against Jerry Rice -- about the allegations that his locker room environment is like a Grand Theft Auto game. That players are fighting each other, they’re gambling, there’s a gun culture, there’s no control... Deion comes out with sunglasses on, snorting every 45 seconds like he’s ‘Bubbles’ from The Wire. Who snorts like that without ever blowing their nose?
This dude has no command of the English language, no idea what he’s doing, he’s just coming out and being defensive. Deion, you’re out here on the defensive because you’re insecure about yourself as a head coach, about the environment and the culture you’ve established within your program, and you're sniffing and snorting your nose like ‘Bubbles’ from The Wire... He comes out on the defensive and then it just gets worse from there. It’s unprofessional what Deion Sanders is doing. The man needs help. He needs an intervention. He’s in over his head. This conversation is not about wins and losses. They’ve bought up some good players and may win 7-8 games this year.
Then he was upset about what a CBS reporter said about his team... I’m not 1000% sure what they did, but my suspicion is some CBS reporter came out with a ranking last week of the top coaches in the Big 12 and Deion was ranked second-to-last. He should have been ranked last. This is what most people are speculating ticked off Deion Sanders. The man finished in last place in the Pac-12 last year and coming to a conference with a lot of high-end established coaches. He’s upset that in this new conference where he’s proven nothing he’s ranked second-to-last.
All of this is ridiculous and incredibly thin-skinned. People are defending Deion for taking on a CBS reporter about something ANOTHER CBS reporter wrote and refusing to answer questions... You know nothing about coaching, you know nothing about leadership, you know nothing about masculinity. This is as insecure and as childish for a head coach that’s paid millions of dollars at a Power-4 school. This is as childish and unprofessional as you can get. Most coaches use it as motivation and swallow up that kind of skepticism and use it as motivation. Deion on the other hand, whines and cries like a spoiled and entitled little girl.”

Watch Jason Whitlock of Blaze TV’s Fearless call out Colorado Buffaloes head coach Deion Sanders as a ‘fragile and feminine fraud’ after Coach Prime’s awkward opening press conference of 2024 that saw Sanders aggressively confronting media members in attendance who Sanders felt had slighted his program.

Check out the segment above as Whitlock calls Deion a ‘thin-skinned jackass’ who hasn’t gotten a clue on how to lead a major college program, and a ‘fraud’ that Whitlock is hoping gets exposed this season.
