Lamar Jackson Is Overrated

In a recent survey, NFL players named Buffalo Bills QB Josh Allen as the most overrated quarterback in the NFL and Dan Patrick disagrees. He explains why, technically speaking, Baltimore Ravens QB Lamar Jackson is actually overrated. His lack of postseason success despite two regular season MVP awards would seem to be the definition of overrated, making Kansas City Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes the most underrated.

Dan Patrick: “If you want to say who is overrated, this is going to sound strange, I would say Lamar Jackson. From the standpoint of: he’s won two MVPs but has nothing to show for it when he gets to the postseason. And when we look at the coverage you get, the attention you get, we want to see what your quarterback does when he gets to the postseason. It’s not fair to him but, if we’re looking at, ‘He’s (a) great regular season quarterback now what do you do in the postseason?’ then you would find him overrated.”
