Tom Brady Would Be A Fool to Leave FOX For the Dolphins

In the aftermath of Tua Tagovailoa's latest head injury on Monday Night Football, Chris and Rob react to the internet collectively floating the idea of Tom Brady returning for a year to play for the Dolphins. The guys agree that it's a bad idea for Brady, but the logic each of them takes to get there is a bit different.

Rob Parker: "I think it would be ridiculous! It'd be foolish! Dumb! I can't even come up with enough words to say it. Tom Brady currently has the cushiest job in the history of the United States, making $37.5 million a year to do 17 football games a year for 10 years guaranteed... and he ain't even good at the job yet! I mean who walks away from that? There's no way you should leave the broadcast booth to go play for the Dolphins at age 47. Enough already! Let Tom Brady learn his new craft and not wind up hurt!"
Chris Broussard: "Well here's the thing, Rob... it's not like he wouldn't get that same job if he came back after [a year]. If he played one year with the Dolphins, that job would be waiting for him... But I'm with you in that I don't think he should even think about [this]. If I'm Tom Brady, I'm sticking with my job as a broadcaster and putting my playing days behind me. Because he's gonna have to put it behind him at some point."
