Jason Whitlock Calls Shedeur Sanders a 'Clown' After Refusing Handshake

Jason Whitlock: “Hats off to the kid for walking away from Shedeur. Tell me why this would be triggering if an opponent said these things? Did they call out Shedeur? Did they make it personal with Shedeur? Deion and Shedeur are running around and pretending like these guys said this on Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday of last week. That clip was from a month ago at their media day. This was five or six weeks ago, it didn’t make news then because it wasn’t very provocative, and now they’re pretending like ‘OMG, I WAS SO OFFENDED!’ and they can’t even shake hands with the guy. Shedeur is a clown.
The guy [Deion] is claiming to be a Christian, but he’s a ‘victim’ at every turn. ‘IF THESE WERE MY KIDS YOU WOULD CRUCIFY US! YOU WOULD KILL US! THEY MADE IT PERSONAL! THIS UNCALLED FOR DISRESPECT!’... This is all a fantasy in Deion’s mind. They didn’t say anything last week, they said something five or six weeks ago. None of it was all that disrespectful. This myth like ‘IF IT WAS MY KIDS, YOU GUYS WOULD BE CRUSHING US FOR IT!’... Shilo Sanders beat up a security guard in high school, broke his neck, put this man on disability, has filed for bankruptcy to avoid a $13 million settlement against him, but Deion is pretending like ‘IF THIS WAS MY KIDS, YA’LL WOULD BE CRUCIFYING US!!’... Your sons – they trash talk, one guy has filed for bankruptcy to avoid paying a legitimate court settlement, beat up a man who was a security guard... Deion just drives me nuts.
Colorado State is significantly worse than they were a year ago. They probably have two or three guys who could play at Colorado. Yes, they ran the ball better against an over-matched team, but Colorado State is the least talented team that Colorado has played this year. This Colorado State team is abysmal, and Jay Norvell chose this past Saturday to coach one of the worst games I’ve ever seen coached. Totally petrified to throw the ball on first down, and put his overstretched quarterback into impossible situations by never throwing on a down that they weren’t expecting him to throw. When I look at Colorado, I don’t see a pass rush. That wasn’t a very talented offensive line they were playing against, and they still have no pass rush. Yes, they were improved running the football, but that’s a byproduct of the other team being over-matched physically. In a game they were virtually ahead the entire time, they only ran the ball 19 times. They threw it 49 times.
‘Improvements’ isn’t just kids on the field, it’s the head coach. The head coach is an idiot and he’s running the team to pad his son’s stats and put his son in the Heisman race. He needed to establish confidence in the run game, but he chose not to do it because he’s out there trying to pleasure his son and build his son’s Heisman case. He’s not building a team. Instead of running the football, building up that side of the team, giving them confidence, giving them the positive results from running the football – he doesn’t do it because he’s so enamored with trying to make his son the Heisman trophy candidate that he’s jeopardizing and undermining the success of his own team. He’s not in control. He’s a little puppet that other people control.”

Watch Jason Whitlock of Blaze TV’s Fearless call out Shedeur Sanders and Coach Prime for their actions following Colorado’s win this past weekend over Colorado State, as Sheduer refused to shake hands with CSU quarterback Brayden Fowler-Nicolosi, citing ‘disrespectful’ trash talk prior to the game as the reason.

Check out the segment above as Whitlock calls out the irony of Deion and his son acting like Colorado State’s ‘trash talk’ was so offensive to them, when the Sanders family has made the Buffaloes the cockiest and most insufferable team in college football.
