Dave Roberts: “With Shohei I’ve Learned that Nothing Is Impossible.”

Dan sat down with Los Angeles Dodger Manager Dave Roberts before Shohei Ohtani’s epic game last night and shares the interview on this morning’s show. As expected, most of the conversation centers on Shohei and his record breaking season. And he admits that while it’s only “slightly cracked,” the door isn’t completely closed on Shohei possibly pitching in the postseason.

Dan Patrick: “There’s no possibility that he’s pitching in the postseason?”

Dave Roberts: “...I guess I left the door open, and I think that with Shohei I’ve learned that nothing is impossible, but I still feel that the progression is still a long ways away from being in a major league game. But I think that it’s OK to leave that door just slightly cracked.”
