Buffalo Bills QB Josh Allen made some innocuous comments about the strong team mentality on his squad this season and social media jumped on the insinuation that his former standout WR Stefon Diggs was selfish. Allen addressed the assumption that he was trolling his former teammate and, while many find his denial to be disingenuous, Doug Gottlieb believes Allen when he says his comments had nothing to do with Diggs.
Doug Gottlieb: “I just don’t think, off the top of (Josh Allen’s) head, he’s like, ‘Ooh, let me tell you why these guys are better than Stefon Diggs and here’s why.’ I think it was just his way of saying like, ‘Look, these guys are bought in.’”
