Angel Reese Doesn’t Need to Play the Victim

Chicago Sky’s Angel Reese thinks the media is from her pain and she’s being villainized in her rivalry with Indiana Fever’s Rookie of the Year, Caitlin Clark.  Doug is frankly tired of hearing WNBA players claiming victimhood when they are all getting more publicity and resources than they’ve ever had. Blaming the media doesn’t make any sense considering she would just be another anonymous WNBA player without the constant coverage of her antics.

Doug Gottlieb: “Why is (Angel Reese) villainizing the media? I don’t know who’s profited off of her pain. I don’t know if she knows that’s not how the media works...but it’s kind of a snapshot of this league where everybody has to play the victim.”
