The Odd Couple: Is Josh Allen the NFL's Most Valuable or Most Overrated?

Before this NFL season, The Athletic released the results of a poll, showing that players predicted Bills quarterback Josh Allen would be the league MVP. A few months prior, though, a similar poll showed that players think of Allen as the league's most overrated player. Rob Parker and Kelvin Washington wonder: which one is it then? Is Allen the Most Valuable Player or the Most Overrated?

Kelvin Washington: "So which is it? Is he the 'MVP' or the 'MOP'? I think he's the MVP this season... He hasn't turned the ball over like he has in years' past... he does things that other quarterbacks can't do... and his team's probably gonna win a bunch of games... If his numbers are comparable to Lamar or Mahomes, I think people are gonna give it to him this time [because of voter fatigue]."

Rob Parker: "To me, he's closer to overrated... Last year there was a bad stretch where he didn't play that well and the offense completely turned to running the football."
