Doug Gottlieb is making history as the first nationally syndicated sports talk radio host to coach a Division 1 men’s basketball team, and it starts tonight in Stillwater, Oklahoma. Doug is overcome with emotion as he returns to his old college campus, this time as the head coach of the Green Bay Phoenix. He has come full circle and talks about trying to give his players the same impactful experience he had when he was in school.
Doug Gottlieb: “There’s a sign that I have...and it says, ‘It all started in Stillwater.’ I’ve had times in my life where I’ve been a little broken and, I pulled in here and nobody judged me. You know? Nobody judged me [EMOTIONAL].
