Lamar Jackson Deserves MVP Consideration

As we hit the midway point of the NFL season, Dan talks about who should be considered for MVP. He admits Bills QB Josh Allen is probably the front-runner and thinks Lions QB Jared Goff has played his way into contention, but wonders why so many seem to be leaving Ravens QB Lamar Jackson off their lists. Dan reminds us that his postseason struggles shouldn’t factor into his qualifications for the regular season award.

Dan Patrick: “I don’t want to hear this argument: Lamar Jackson doesn’t do anything in the postseason. Aaron Rodgers didn’t either. Peyton (Manning) had his moments but the Patriots had his number. You win the MVP by what you do during the regular season. I have no problem with that.”
