Joe Burrow is the New-Age Joe Montana

Jason and Mike react immediately following the Ravens thrilling victory over the Bengals on Thursday Night Football. Even though the Bengals came up short, Jason was incredibly impressed by the gritty performance Joe Burrow put on, viewing it as the perfect microcosm for what makes the 27-year-old signal caller so special of a player.

Jason Smith: "Everybody knows how talented Joe Burrow is, but one thing I don't think gets appreciated... he's one of the toughest quarterbacks in the NFL. He continually gets up, doesn't have bad body language toward his teammates, he doesn't do the Aaron Rodgers eye roll or anything like that... he just simply gets up and goes to make the next play. He's the next version of Joe Montana. The talent, the toughness, the leadership... He just oozes all of that. Watching how he responds after a big hit, to just come right back and make the next play... it sets an example, and it's really, really special... That toughness aspect [to his game] is something people should be more appreciative of."
