Doug reacts to the latest reports that Bronny James will only be playing home game for the Lakers in the G-League and won’t be travelling with the team. It’s just one more example of the preferential treatment for LeBron’s son that is likely to result in some animosity from his teammates. This is all in an effort to make King James happy, but he is just like so many youth basketball parents who force everyone to treat their kids like they’re are better than they actually are.
Doug Gottlieb: “This toxicity is based upon one guy. And LeBron is a good father, is a good parent, but he’s a bad basketball parent because he’s making people elevate his kid to a level that his skill is not close to being at.”
