On today’s edition of The Odd Couple, Rob Parker and Kelvin Washington discuss Caitlin Clark’s decision not to join the new women’s 3 on 3 league Unrivaled, and why Rob thinks it was a total mistake on her part to decline the $1 million dollar offer.

Kelvin Washington: "For Caitlin Clark, she ain't the average WNBA player. She doesn’t have that mindset of, “I gotta play hard as heck and make my WNBA salary & then I got to go overseas and play hard in this league and go to this country.” Dangling $1,000,000 for her ain't necessarily the same. She been the talk of women's basketball for about two years straight. She needs a break!"
Rob Parker: "My point is, there are times in life when you can make a difference and change things, and she's in that position because the eyeballs are on her and she already has star power. Her mistake here is that they're also giving her, like a stake in the league or whatever, whenever you can own something and eventually make money without having to do anything and could build something from the ground. When you have a chance to create other things for other people, that's what she has a chance to do, and that's what she swung and missed on."
