Jason Smith: “I’m okay with Alabama being ahead of Miami, and Miami being out. If you have 3 losses, and Alabama’s loss to Oklahoma is really bad, that one really sticks out. Maybe you fell asleep against Vanderbilt, but the Oklahoma loss is bad. It’s still 3 losses, and now it looks like that is the line of demarcation in the polls. I’m okay with it, because if you have 3 losses, you have to have a really good resume outside of that to get in the playoff, and Alabama does!”
Mike Harmon: “Clearly, beating up on Florida State doesn’t matter this year. Miami lost two of three down the stretch...by the way, we didn’t even mention the whole brand thing – this isn’t the U! You could have a class reunion and bring back every legend that ever wore the uniform and it doesn’t matter. Alabama still rates.”
