The San Francisco 49ers were facing a must-win game last night and despite that, LB De’Vondre Campbell basically quit in the middle of the game, refusing to take the field when called upon. His coaches and teammates seem mystified and shocked by his behavior and Dan wouldn’t be surprised if they haven’t already cleared out his locker and sent him packing. There’s nothing that will lose you the respect of your peers than quitting on them, especially when it still matters.
Dan Patrick: “This is a must-win situation for this team. They had to win last night, had to. And now you don’t want to play? That locker might have been cleared out last night.”
