Nobody Wants the Jets Job if Aaron Rodgers Remains

The New York Jets are looking for a new head coach, but Dan Patrick isn’t sure anybody wants the job if Aaron Rodgers remains their quarterback. There are enough systemic issues within that franchise without having to coddle Aaron Rodgers’ ego too.

Dan Patrick: “I think the Jets will move on. If they’re going to try to bring in a legitimate head coach; that head coach doesn’t want to walk into this situation. I wouldn’t. Now, you might find somebody who’s willing to do it because they want to get the job. Aaron Glenn, the Defensive Coordinator with the Jets, I don’t know if he’s going to go, ‘Hey, I’ll take the job but I don’t want Aaron Rodgers.’ And it’s weird to say you don’t want Aaron Rodgers, but there’s so much more that goes along with Aaron Rodgers...”
