On this week's edition of The Fellas with Anthony Gargano & Jason Fitz, the guys explain why there really is no officiating bias when it comes to Patrick Mahomes & the Kansas City Chiefs.
Jason Fitz: There is no Chiefs bias with officiating, & the numbers don't bear it out. The Chiefs have the fourth worst differential in yards in penalty yards compared to their opponent's 4th worst. A third or fourth down turn into a first down due to penalty is 84 times. That number feels really staggering. Unfortunately for the narrative Chiefs opponents in those same games have had 104 conversions. There is absolutely no data that shows that the league supports Kansas City.
Anthony Gargano: You’re right, the numbers bear it. It's amazing how last weekend crystallized those two plays & all of a sudden with two flags, everything changes & Patrick Mahomes goes from being beloved to reviled.
