Rob Parker: “LeBron is saying all the right things. He has an all-time great with him, young guy, only 25. Perfect. I’m just not convinced. Words to me aren’t nearly as important as actions. I think it’s fair to question or doubt whether or not LeBron will be able to acquiesce. That’s just natural. You can’t teach an old dog a new trick; you can’t expect LeBron to automatically change what he’s been doing his entire career.”
Kelvin Washington: “I don’t think this was some noble idea, or some new idea. I think this was a Captain Obvious statement from LeBron James. At this point in his life, he’s 40, you’re good, some nights you’re really good. Luka’s better. For the first time probably in LeBron’s life since he was 8 years old, somebody is actually better than him on his team.”
On this edition of The Odd Couple with Rob Parker and Kelvin Washington, Rob & Kelvin gave their thoughts on recent statements from LeBron James and his willingness to hand control of the team over to Luka Doncic, and Rob isn’t quite convinced that his actions will match his words!
