DP extolls the virtues of Victor Wembanyama after the San Antonio Spurs stole Game 1 of the NBA Western Conference Finals from the Oklahoma City Thunder in double overtime on the back of Wemby’s epic 41-point, 23-rebound performance. Dan thinks he’s already the best player in the game and it’ll be a long time before we see another player come along with a comparable skillset.

There's nobody that says, ‘Oh, the next Wemby is coming along.’ There'll be another SGA (Shai Gilgeous-Alexander), an unbelievable scorer, but it'll be a while before we go, ‘You know, there was a player 10 years, 15 years ago, Victor Wembanyama, he reminds me of him.’ That's not happening anytime soon.”
