Is the NFL getting softer? Ben Maller wholeheartedly agrees and offers Clay Matthews some sound advice on how he can properly tackle a quarterback going forward. Clay Matthews was once again called for roughing the passer over the weekend. This time it was Washington Redskins' quarterback, Alex Smith. This comes on the heels of Matthews being called for this violation after roughing Minnesota Vikings' Kirk Cousins recently. Ben Maller is frustrated that anybody questions whether or not the game is softer and discusses how ironic it is that this is happening to a Green Bay Packers player since the rule was kind of created due to an incident that occurred with Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers.
