Alabama Quarterback Jalen Hurts Transfers to Oklahoma

Jalen Hurts presented an article in The Players Tribune stating the following:

"I’ve decided to take my talents to the University of Oklahoma, where I will continue my development as both a quarterback and as a student."

After much speculation at the beginning of the College Football season about whether Jalen Hurts would stay at Alabama, the move has finally happened. Jalen Hurts led Alabama to national title contention in 2017 only to be switched out in the final playoff game with Tua Tagovailoa. Tua then took over starting quarterback duties in 2018 and Alabama remained as dominant as ever. Hurts shined once more when he stepped in for an injured Tua against the Georgia Bulldogs and reminded the college football world that he still had greatness in the tank.

Alabama went to the playoffs this year and lost to Clemson. With Hurts gone, Tua will obviously be the man to lead Alabama and Hurts could be the man to stand in his way, this time in a Sooners uniform.
