Baker Mayfield is Facing Backlash for Endorsing Kareem Hunt

As the Cleveland Browns OTAs occur in Ohio, the cameras are hovering around the camp trying to get a vibe on how things are going for the new look team that now has an entourage of talent after a very solid offseason. The acquisition of Odell Beckham Jr. was huge, but another quiet addition was the Browns taking on running back Kareem Hunt. Hunt was a STAR with Kansas City, but the hammer came down on him when TMZ leaked video of him in a violent altercation with a woman. He'll have to wait several games before he can step on the field for the Browns, but once he does, it could be a substantial boost for the Browns offense mid-season.

Baker Mayfield has been answering a lot of questions lately and recently addressed the acquisition of Hunt saying,

We want' everybody right now to feel they're part of the team...to feel like we're working towards the same goal. Even though he can't play the first eight games, he's gonna be a vital part of our team, I think he's a great kid, and mistakes happen. I can speak from personal experience.
Just talking to Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce, the guys that have been with him, they speak very highly of him, so I think that's really important.

Ben Maller talks about how Mayfield is facing backlash for endorsing Kareem Hunt and thinks it's a bit overblown. Listen Below.
