Bill Plaschke: LA Lakers Should Call Themselves The LA Knicks

The Lakers Organization has become a big bucket of awkward mixed with awful. They've gone from a team celebrating potential Lakers coach, Tyronn Lue's birthday with a Lakers-themed cake to suddenly having negotiations for the head coaching gig fall to pieces in a period of a few days. Dan Patrick and LA Times writer Bill Plaschke agree the team taking the most significant losses in the post-season is the Los Angeles Lakers. Plaschke refers to them as the Los Angeles Knicks in his latest column.

Patrick and Plaschke attempt to dissect what's wrong in Laker land and why things continue to take a deep dive into the gutter.
