The NFL has suspended Browns RB Kareem Hunt for eight games after violating its personal conduct policy. The violation committed had to do with an incident at a hotel where Kareem Hunt had a violent altercation with a woman. While there were no charges, the footage was damning enough for him to be released by the Kansas City Chiefs. The timing of the incident was much further before the actual footage was made public but, the optics were so bad, punishment seemed inevitable. Apparently, Hunt hadn't told the Chiefs the full extent of what occurred that night which is why he was released when TMZ publically released the footage.
Hunt will now have to wait 8 games before he can join the much anticipated offensive onslaught of the Cleveland Browns who recently acquired superstar wide receiver, Odell Beckham Jr.
