The Boston Celtics are off to a slow start considering they were a team, going into this season, to be easy favorites to win the east. They now have a 7-6 record which makes them 5th in their conference. While it's not necessarily a bad spot, Celtics don't seem to be playing their best basketball. Kyrie Irving, their best player, seems to agree with that sentiment and during a post-game interview talked about how a 14-15 year veteran on the team would be beneficial right now.
Chris Broussard and Rob Parker react to Kyrie Irving's thoughts on his Celtics team. Broussard suggests that veteran they need has to be Irving alone, considering the fact Irving walked away from LeBron James. Also, this team may have issues because the young players made substantial progress in Irving's absence last year. Therefore, roles in Boston have taken a significant shift.
