D'Angelo Russell has come into his own and showing his value as a number two pick in the NBA draft. Initially, he was drafted as an LA Laker but was traded to Brooklyn. Some see the success the Nets are having with Russell at the helm and wonder if Lakers made a mistake in parting ways with a player who seems to be rising to stardom. Jason Smith and Mike Harmon assure you that Lakers' judgment was sound and having a player with such poor judgment at the time could disrupt the Lakers' culture and thus was not worth the risk. Plus, no trade, no Kyle Kuzma.
