Last night, LeBron James and Giannis Antetokounmpo sat out a game between the Los Angeles Lakers and Milwaukee Bucks. This essentially deprived the Bucks fans of seeing LeBron James which is, at this point of the season, pretty bad but it becomes much worse when the hometown star sits out as well. Both players did have worthy excuses with Giannis out for an ankle sprain and LeBron James nursing the very same groin that fell apart and could single-handedly be responsible for the Lakers' downfall this season.
Jason Smith argues with Mike Harmon that there needs to be some reparations for fans set to attend marquee games. News dropped that Kyrie Irving will be sitting out more games as the Celtics get closer to the playoffs and Kawhi Leonard already has a pattern of sitting out games. Smith thinks the NBA should implement a way to warn fans ahead of time of a player sitting out and allow them an opportunity to receive a refund for not getting what they paid for. Listen Below.
