Dan Hellie, filling for Rich Eisen, think's it's time to ponder if Rob Gronkowski is the greatest Tight End of all time. As a player who dominated the tight-end position in his career to the point where rules needed to be changed, where does Gronk stand in the NFL pantheon of greatness?
Dan Hellie said the following:
You can make the argument that if Tom Brady is the Greatest of all-time, that Rob Gronkowski has been better at tight end than Tom Brady has been at quarterback over the last nine years. I'm not gonna put Gronk over Tony Gonzales, but I don't think there's any argument against Gronk being a more complete tight-end than anybody else that's ever played the game.
