Last year the NBA debuted a new format for player selection in the NBA All-Star Game that allowed the top two vote-getters to select their team based on the list of top players voted in for the All-Star game. This selection process was untelevised. With parity in the NBA becoming minimal due to stars jumping to different conferences, the NBA felt it would be wise to stop using the old format which relegated players to their respective conferences otherwise you risk having an NBA All-Star game that looks like the Harlem Globetrotters VS. The Washington Generals.
Chris Broussard and Rob Parker react to the news that the NBA All-Star Game, this year, WILL televise this selection process but Rob isn't on board thinking that the opportunity was missed last year and there's no real story or drama this year.
