Lamar Jackson May Not Be Ready But We Want to Watch Him Play

Colin Cowherd is very much ready to see Lamar Jackson take on the reins as quarterback for the Baltimore Ravens. Despite Ravens getting a victory over the Cincinnati Bengals in Jackson's debut, there's still a lot of work to do for the young rookie. Cowherd quotes FS1 co-host  and NFL Hall of Famer, Cris Carter of First Things First:

"Lamar Jackson will not have a long career running that ball 27 times because he does not have the body. We just talked about Cam Newton, Six foot five and two hundred forty-five...and Lamar is NOT that."

While Cowherd agrees with Carter, he still wants more of what Jackson brings to the table because he thinks the combination of quarterbacks and mobility has proven to be a winning formula this season.
