Over the weekend, Eagles came up short against the New Orleans Saints, and Foles came away from that game with one touch down and two interceptions. Philly got hot dropping two touchdowns in the first quarter, and then the offense was completely invisible from the second quarter to the finish of the game.
As the Eagles attempted to make their case to be in NFL Playoffs, there was ongoing talk about a quarterback controversy in Philly, but as Smith explains below, Foles is just a back-up quarterback that's no better than Ryan Fitzpatrick who wouldn't have much success if he got a starting quarterback job.
