Despite what it looks like, the NBA reviewed the play and found that there was no violation there. Even James Harden seemed to admit that he got away with it. Ben Maller explains below why any crackdown on this rule isn't coming any time soon despite the NBA mandating that at the beginning of the season. Maller also thinks that James Harden and superstars like him will always continue to get favorable calls from the officials.
