Just a week after Antonio Brown posted a video brutally berating Hollywood, FL police in front of his house, local authorities were right back at Brown’s house on Tuesday, reportedly investigating a possible case of felony burglary and battery at his residence.
Police reportedly swarmed the perimeter of Brown’s home stemming from an incident involving Brown and the driver of a moving company truck.
Brown and another man allegedly ‘attacked and assaulted’ the driver after there was an argument with the amount of money the driver was supposed to be owed. Brown and the second person allegedly forced the driver from the cab.
Hordes of local news reporters followed the developing situation outside of Brown’s home, including ESPN’s Cameron Wolfe, who was posting pictures and Live videos of the police activity outside of Brown’s home.
Wolfe said the authorities were not investigating anything relating to domestic violence.
TMZ Sports reported that cops were ‘actively working on getting a warrant for Brown’s arrest’ and were ‘trying to convince the NFL star to surrender’. TMZ also said the other man who was with Brown during the altercation had already been arrested.
Around 6:00 pm ET local time, the large moving van driven previously by the ill-fated driver left Brown's residence, with a handful of other police vehicles leaving as well, but it didn’t appear Brown was in the back of any of the vehicles.
Just days prior, Brown's longtime agent Drew Rosenhaus parted ways with the former All-Pro wide receiver, saying Brown needed to 'get help'.
Brown is 31 years old and has not played in the NFL since Week 2 when he caught a caught a touchdown pass from Tom Brady versus the Miami Dolphins on September 15th, 2019.
