The Dallas Cowboys pulled of a win, in division no less, against the Washington Commanders, but it probably won’t help Head Coach Mike McCarthy keep his job. While Cowboys owner Jerry Jones is on record saying there is still a lot of season left and he isn’t firing McCarthy right now, it’s likely just a matter of time before Jerry drops the axe. Doug thinks it’s actually smart for Jerry to wait until he has his replacement lined up and ready to go.
Doug Gottlieb: “I don’t think he said Mike McCarthy is coming back. I think he said; it’s not done yet...yet. And that’s smart because you got to make sure whoever you want to get, you can get.”
