After announcing that he’s pulling out of two more upcoming golf tournaments, Colin Cowherd wonders how Tiger Woods’ deteriorating health stays at a constant downfall, despite other high performance athletes around his age like Tom Brady are seeing their health remain stronger than ever.
Cowherd believes the rapid dissent from fairytale to nightmare could be more psychological than physiological, saying that Tiger’s love for golf was essentially jammed down his throat so much as an adolescent that once he was winning every single golf tournament as an adult with proliferating fame, he slowly lost focus on a long term existence in golf.
With the massive payouts, and multiplying trophy case, Cowherd thinks Woods became burned out with the sport, and realized he’d rather put his concentration towards other ventures, letting his body go in the process.
