Colin Cowherd believes Kentucky’s basketball program, although among one of college basketball’s most recognizable bluebloods, is by far the most underwhelming imperial powers when it comes to its players making up the grand history of professional basketball.
If the NBA’s history was chronicled from its induction all the way to its current state, Cowherd thinks it’s possible that the entire story could be written without a single mention of a Kentucky player.
After pointing out that Kentucky’s All-Time NBA Team (Wall, Cousins, A. Davis, Issel, Mashburn) combines for zero NBA titles, Cowherd said the school is not just known for NBA futility, but head cases and busts as well.
