The Oklahoma City Thunder saw firsthand just how devastating it can be to have a star player walk away in free agency, and they ended up with nothing in return for Kevin Durant when he left for Golden State.
Now, many other NBA teams with expiring contracts attached to their best players are starting to feel the pressure of making a trade at the deadline due to the possibility of getting zilch in return when free agency opens up in the summer. That is no more evident than the case of Paul George in Indiana, and Charles Barkley weighed in on it during his appearance on The Dan Patrick Show today.
Barkley believes George should be moved, ideally to Boston, if he will not re-up in Indiana. Listen below, and be sure to tune into The Dan Patrick Show every weekday from 9-12 noon est. on Fox Sports Radio.
