Despite the Western Conference’s stranglehold over the NBA ever since Michael Jordan left Chicago in the late 90’s, Colin Cowherd believes the balance of power has finally tilted towards the Eastern Conference, arguing that Cleveland has a more difficult road to the Finals than Golden State.
Cowherd said the top talent in the East is better proportioned among the top 8 teams, the coaching (sans Gregg Popovich) is more dynamic, and there’s more dangerous landmines hanging around on Cleveland’s potential path to the Finals.
