Patriots QB Tom Brady has partnered with a company called Purple Carrot on a meal subscription service that mimics Brady’s strict diet. Before signing on, Brady insisted the meals be higher-protein, gluten-free, limited in soy and refined sugar and not contain dairy, eggs, seafood, meat or processed foods.
The company has filed to trademark the phrase “Eat Like A GOAT.” They coined the saying because of its double-meaning, referencing the acronym for greatest of all time, and an actual goat's plant-based diet.
Brilliant marketing strategy from Tom Brady yet again. Who likes carrots and soy? Absolutely no one. Who likes puns about their favorite football player?
That's what we thought.
