Dan Beyer saw the University of Indiana play in Indianapolis during the 1993 season, and remembers hearing the crowd roar when Bob Knight even walked onto the court to start a warmup.
He was, to put it simply, adored.
Now, with the comments today that he 'hopes everyone dies' that was associated with him at Indiana, Beyer thinks Knight has gone too far. It's been 17 years since he left the University, and all of those people he mentions are basically gone by now. So why the hostility towards a city and university who gave him so much love?
