So let me get this straight. Russell Westbrook is going to finish the season averaging a triple-double, play in every single game this season, and take his team to the playoffs with a usage rate never-before-seen and a mediocre cast of supporting pieces.... and he STILL might not win the MVP?
For whatever reason, people have become determined to hate Russell Westbrook at all costs. Whether it is his ball-dominant style, insistence on shooting from deep, or anything else about his game people seem hell-bent on criticizing the young point guard.
Say what you want, but Westbrook has not sat a game for 'rest purposes' nor has he ever changed gears from full throttle. Jason Smith wonders why you all hate him so much.
