Make no mistake about it, the Houston Texans were all-in on Tony Romo.
Giving up a second round pick alongside the most expensive "player-to-be-named-later" of All-Time, Brock Osweiler, was done to clear up enough space to bring in the man who was going to save the franchise and take all of the talented pieces and bring them together to form an offense. Now, with Romo moving upstairs to the broadcasting booth, the Texans are the guy showing up at prom only to find out his date decided to go with Jim Nantz instead.
Not a great place to be.
