As of Friday afternoon, details surrounding the suicide of Aaron Hernandez had covered everything from the cause and time of death to the letters that he reportedly left behind. By the time it was all said and done, Aaron Hernandez was allegedly gay and left a note to his "prison-lover" before he died.
"In a story that literally anything is possible, nothing should surprise us."
Dan Wetzel of Yahoo talked about this piece of information specifically, and how based upon the sources he had it was not yet to the point where he could report on the news, which is a crazy thing to think about after the fact. By major publications sprinting to get 'the scoop' on this issue, the fact that he was homosexual was written way too freely.
