College Football Players should PLAY their Bowl Games

With guys like Leonard Fournette and Christian McCaffrey being 'rewarded' for skipping their bowl game, and guys like Jake Butt making headlines for getting injured in his own respective battle, it would not be far-fetched to assume a trend was beginning among college football players. Skipping out on your bowl game, if the game isn't for a National Championship, was a popular decision this season by top prospects.

Doug Gottlieb believes that, while it worked for McCaffrey and Fournette, there were plenty of other players who were able to make additional millions of dollars by their fantastic performance in their bowl game. Anyone ever heard of Deshaun Watson?

Listen below, as Doug explains why players should not be skipping their bowl games.

You can hear The Doug Gottlieb Show every weekday from 3-6 pm est. on Fox Sports Radio.
