NBA Playoff Games have been Horrible, But Not Surprising

The NBA Playoffs have not provided their viewing audience with any sort of thrilling back-and-forth games so far this postseason, but that shouldn't come as a surprise to anyone. With every single game so far in the second round having been decided by more than ten points, the playoffs have been dull. Plain and simple.

But they were last year as well, and what do we remember most from that postseason?

As long as the season ends on a dramatic finish, we will not remember how bad the postseason has been. The entirety of the NBA Finals up until Game Seven was a blowout-fest, but we look back at it as a dramatic and incredible series.  As fans, we only care about the finish. Doug Gottlieb explains.
