NHL is Really Messing Up with Sidney Crosby's Concussions

Sidney Crosby took yet another spill last night when he went head-first into the boards during the first period of Game Six against the Capitals, prompting immediate speculation into the state of his brain. 

After sitting out game five with a concussion suffered from a nasty hit, Crosby was supposed to make sure he protected himself. When he hit his head so early last night, people began to think about his long-term health.

Well, everyone but the Pittsburgh Penguins and the NHL.

Jason Smith explains how the inconsistencies in the Crosby concussion protocol explanation last night are a horrible look for the NHL and Penguins. Listen below.
