When you think about the injury to Tony Parker, and the reaction it got in the media, you would think the Spurs lost their perennial NBA MVP or something. Fans were quick to say "this series is DONE" and other demonstrative and exaggerated statements, failing to realize who and what they were talking about.
By sliding Patty Mills into the point guard role, seamlessly including Simmons in the rotation, and changing the way they play the game, the Spurs are leading the series 3-2 with a chance to close it out tonight.
