Whenever you hear the argument that the Cavaliers get to walk to the NBA Finals, the Western Conference is so much more loaded than the East, or the NBA needs a reshuffling of talent, it is coming from a lazy argument made by someone who really isn't paying close attention right now.
While the NBA Western Conference clearly has more talented individuals than the East, the argument that the teams are harder to eliminate in the postseason is misguided.
"You really think Boston and Washington aren't in the same class as Houston? The same Houston who just lost by 40 at home in an elimination game against the Spurs without Kawhi?"
